Tom grew up near Atlanta, played football at the University of Georgia, and graduated with a degree in business. He immediately began a successful career in sales throughout the southeast, later working in the mortgage banking business and then touring the world with the Global Auto Delivery industry. These early experiences were invaluable preparation for his career as a real estate broker. Tom’s love for the Lowcountry began in the early 1980’s, when his parents retired to beautiful Hilton Head Island. In 1985, after many visits to the island, Tom was offered a real estate sales position with the Melrose Company during the initial development stages of the golf communities on exclusive Daufuskie Island. Tom and his wife, Tiphany, met and got married in the Lowcountry and lived on Hilton Head for five years before moving to the mainland with their three children. |
