Sallie Chester was named the Central Carolina REALTORS' Association 2021 REALTOR® of the Year. She was selected by her peers among 3300 REALTORS® in the midlands of SC, in recognition of her dedication, professionalism, and success. Sallie is a life member and Legacy Award recipient of the Central Carolina REALTORS'® Association Circle of Excellence. She has served the local association as a member and executive member of the CCRA Board of Directors. She has served on the South Carolina REALTORS'® Board of Directors. Sallie is a member of the Grievance and Professional Standards Committee and the committee for Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion. She spent seventeen years as an educator. She holds a BA in music from Columbia College and MEd from SC State University. She is a graduate of the SC School of Real Estate and holds the following National REALTOR® Association designations or certifications: Seniors Real Estate Specialist, At Home With Diversity, and Pricing Strategies Advisor. Since 2004, Sallie has worked as a Relocation Manager, a global referral specialist and a real estate sales agent. She has successfully rehabilitated homes and has managed her own rental property.

Besides her real estate affiliations, Sallie is the choir director at Gilbert United Methodist Church. She is a member of the Capital City Lake Murray Country Regional Tourism, the Lake Murray Association, the Lexington County Choral Society, and Moultrie-Eutaw Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Her volunteer work includes helping families build and improve places to call home through Habitat for Humanity.
